We would like to share a great event with you. Thanks to our distributor Andy Lin, Maxmatt Dense Edge Paint had the opportunity to be part of a special experience that took place in Singapore on January, 13th, and that engaged the artisan’s organization Personalised Love.
Personalised Love (PLove) was founded on the belief that each special needs individual is gifted and PLove embraces each individual’s talent. In their artisan team there are people with Mild Intellectual Disability (MID), Cerebral Palsy and Autism.
Personalised Love has been using various kinds of edge dye for their products but PLove was unable to find a product that was both easy for their artisan and great for the final result.
The short session was hosted by Textile and Fashion Industry Training Centre (TaF.tc) which which is the training arm of the Textile & Fashion Federation (Taff) at Plove’s location.
The team was taught by Andy to learn how to make a basic card case using simple vegetable tanned leather, including the steps of punching of holes, glueing and pasting, edge dye and simple basic sanding.
The event was a real success and the team is now ready to make more beautiful products using a simpler method with the help of a great product. With such knowledge the artisans are able to maximise their potential and empower their capabilities.

We are really happy to collaborate with this great organization. Amazing job kids!!!
